When people speak of poker, there is one name that cuts above the rest of the poker classification—the Texas Hold ‘em poker. This type of poker is considered to be the most popular type being played in the casinos today, whether online or in real casinos.
Generally, Texas Hold ‘Em Poker starts with a batch of two players situated at the left of the “dealer button.” This dealer buttons refers to the round disc being passed on clockwise on each player. It signifies who will be dealer in the event that the deal was move forward from one player to another.
The betting starts on the first part of the game where the money is placed into the pot before dealing the cards. Normally, the first blind is the one that places half of the required minimum stake. The first blind refers to the player situated at the left of the dealer. The second blind, on the other hand, is the one responsible in placing the full minimum required bet.
Since the very object of the game is to win whatever is in the pot, it is best to know some rules or strategies so as to get an edge over the other players. Here’s how:
1. The table.
When a player is playing Texas hold ‘em poker, the best thing that he or she should consider is selecting the table. This is because players, regardless of their skills in playing the game, will be constrained to give their best shots if the table is too assertive, too rigid or too loose, or if it consists of players that are more skillful.
The bottom line: Even if the essence of winning the game is directly affected by the skills of the player, it is still best to play on a table that has few raisers but many callers.
The logic behind this concept is based on the fact that the more raisers there are in a table, the lesser the chances of winning the game.
2. When a player is in the early position, it is best to raise with K-K, A-K, and A-As, then, with A-Qs, Q-Q, J-J, A-K, T-T, have a call and then fold everything else.
3. For players who already have a remarkable hand starters, especially when he or she has a high pair, say JJ or even higher, it is best not to hesitate raising it before the flop.
Indeed, playing Texas hold ‘em poker requires skills also. It is not all based on gambling. This just goes to show that games like this requires both luck and skill to win the pot.

You can play for free at pretty much any poker site. There are also freerolls at many of them. However, there's also a way to get actual money to play with without depositing anything or giving out credit card info. This is because some sites GIVE you money to play with just to entice new members and build their site, of course they don't tell everyone this.
I found out about these deals through a poker forum buddy of mine, he made you join his newsletter to find out how to get them, but I'll just give you the link you get after joining: http://www.pokermanhattan.com/Bonus.html
I used this myself, it totally works, beats the heck out of depositing your own money
Enjoy

Your question is a bit incoherent.
"Is Online Texas Hold Em Poker A?" What does that mean?
From the rest of what you're saying, I think you're wondering if everyone has the same chance as long as they have the guts to make big plays.
The answer is absolutely, positively not! Very skilled players that are aggressive are some of the most profitable on-line players. The "skill" is MUCH more important than the aggression, though. You've got to know when to push it and when to not get involved.
ANYONE can win a few hands. EVERYONE is going to eventually get just as many good hands as everyone else. The difference between winning players and losing players is what they DO with the cards and their chips that makes the difference between winning players and losing players.

Yes and no. Many micro limit hold 'em games are like home games as far as skill is concerned. The problem that many average players run into is adjusting to online play. If you are used to playing 20 hands per hour and seeing a few bad beats here and there, you'll be in for a surprise.
The anonymity of the internet allows bad players to play worse without having to show their face. With the increased hands per hour, and with 7-8 people seeing each flop, you'll see a lot of bad players chase cards they like…and hit…a lot. When players can't understand this, they get the impression that sites are rigged rather than seeing the faults in their own game.
But if you can recognize betting patterns, timing, and take notes on players (available on the poker software, itself) you can turn a decent return on investment.

Poker Stars is one of the more popular and advertised sites. There are many others. You can practice on most sites with play money. Until you are absolutely unbeatable with play money , I would suggest you stay away from playing with real money. The sites always take a small percentage for the house but remember your real money is dependent on a computer program to deal the cards and flops. If you want to really want get practice with real money, set up a small real money game with friends. This way someone you know and possibly like gets your money if you lose. Keep the games small $$$ and if you are not successful at this after a while DO NOT think you can do it on-line.

You both had three 6's, If I understand correctly. Now, if I understand right, the table should look like this:
Your hand: 9 6
Other cards: 6 6 J 8 A
His cards: 6 Q
Your final hand should look like this:
Your hand: 9 _6_
Other cards: _6_ _6_ _J_ 8 _A_
So you would end with this: 6 6 6 A 9
A three of a kind with A and 9
Following the same rules, his hand would look like this:
Other cards: _6_ _6_ J 8 _A_
His cards: _6_ _Q_
He would have 6 6 6 A Q
A three of a kind with A and Q
The difference between your hand and his hand is that he had the Queen in his hand. You used the Jack on the table. If he didn't have the Queen, you would have tied, splitting the pot.

This is the best tip I can provide for playing poker in the casinos. Know the right times to play. If making money is the end goal then do you want to play against good or bad poker players? Bad poker players! This summer I've been going up to the casinos between midnight and 1:00 am. The bars in my area start last call at about 1:15am. The drunks start rolling in about 1:00 am. There is nothing better then playing poker against a bunch of drunks who are chasing cards.
